JM Electrical Company, Inc

JM Electrical Company, Inc. is a Lynnfield, Massachusetts electrical contractor that's been in business since 1985 — a 41-year run, according to both its own site and its Angi profile. Its site describes it as a specialized commercial electrical contractor serving building automation and mechanical contractors across Greater Boston, handling controls, instrumentation, power, service and energy-solutions work. A 2026 news piece marking the company's 40-year milestone reports it has completed 25,000 projects and was ranked by the National Electrical Contractors Association as the ninth-safest electrical contractor in the nation. The written reviews on file are fewer, and mostly smaller-scale jobs than that commercial focus suggests — a Google Nest installation one reviewer called prompt and knowledgeable, a small office job praised as efficient and effective, and a residential job in Dorchester the customer called professional with a quick-scheduled appointment. Every review on file, from 2021 through 2023, is five stars, and its Angi profile carries a 5.0 rating with accredited status. There isn't a deep written customer record to draw on beyond those few accounts, but the company's decades-long history and its safety ranking speak to an established, experienced operation. For commercial or building-controls electrical work — or a smaller residential job — in the Greater Boston area, this is a long-established contractor worth a call.
