Red's Electrical Services runs out of Lynnfield, and the story that keeps repeating across its reviews is a phone that gets answered when nobody else's does. The company says it's family-owned, with licensed master electricians on staff, and the name traces to an owner most customers call Red — though a few reviews spell it Redi or Redion. It states it covers Lynnfield, Peabody, Wakefield, Reading, North Reading, Saugus, Melrose, Stoneham, Danvers, and Middleton, along with parts of New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. The reviews that actually describe recent jobs back that reputation up. This spring, one customer called about a burning-plastic smell in the basement over a weekend, and Red came out that Saturday evening to track it down. A Lynnfield homeowner points to quick response times and fair pricing from a neighbor who, in their words, does right by the town. In January, a local business had its lighting knocked out by a burst sprinkler pipe on New Year's Eve — Red was there fixing it first thing New Year's Day, and came back again two weeks later when the same building's fire panel took damage, both times getting the business reopened on schedule. Another January review describes electrical work folded into a home addition and kitchen remodel, with recommendations offered but never pushed. That pattern isn't new: the Google history behind these runs back to 2022, and every one of the 40 ratings there is five stars, echoed by 19 more five-star reviews on Birdeye and six on ecohome.co. No complaint shows up anywhere across those sources. A couple of things are worth asking about before booking, though. One small directory, zipleaf.us, lists the business as 'Established January 2026' — hard to square with a review trail that starts in 2022, so it's worth confirming how long the current operation has actually been running under Red. And some of the write-ups on aggregator sites and the company's own homepage turn out to be the same Google reviews reposted rather than fresh accounts, so the real base of independent opinion is closer to that Google review count than the sum of every listing combined. Red's reads like the call for a middle-of-the-night failure or a commercial property that can't afford downtime — burst pipes, dead panels, no-power emergencies — as much as for planned work like a panel upgrade or a generator hookup during a remodel. Before booking, it's worth confirming current pricing for the specific job and asking directly how long Red and the team have been operating under this name.

First in class customer service! I was concerned with a burning plastic smell in my basement this weekend and Red came out on a Saturday evening to diagnose the issue. It’s not easy finding a company that is honest, and cares about their customers but have found both of those things with Red’s. I am happy to have found a local electrician that I can trust!!

I 100% recommend Red’s Electric. Red has quick response times. His prices are reasonable, and his professionalism and courteousness goes a long way. He is local Lynnfield resident and does right by his neighbors.

Red’s Electrical saved the day again, my business had a sprinkler pipe burst on New Year’s Eve and needed some lights repaired. Red was there first thing New Year’s Day and went above and beyond to help us get open on time, not two weeks later it happened again and Red was there this time repairing a damaged fire panel. He worked quickly to help us get open and without him and his team id still be closed. I can’t say enough about Red and his team - great work and he cares about his customers. I would highly recommend his company to anyone!

We hired Red’s Electrical for our addition and kitchen remodel and couldn’t be happier. Red was professional, attentive, and provided great recommendations without ever being pushy. Highly recommended—we will definitely use them again.

I called Red on a Saturday afternoon on a very hot day in the middle of August. After trying several 24/7 electricians, he was the only one who answered the phone. He was extremely patient and professional, clearly explaining what the issue with our AC could be. He then sent one of his technicians right away, found the problem immediately, and got our AC back up and running. Absolutely recommended.
