JM Remodeling

For 25 years, while we lived in Massachusetts, John Mason, of JM Remodeling, was our contractor. He completed multiple projects inside and outside our home. John’s communication was exceptional. He kept us informed of his schedule and supply procurement prior to and during the project. We knew what day and time he would arrive at our home. John is not one of those contractors who starts a project, disappears for some time, and then returns. Once he starts a project, he finishes it in a timely fashion keeping you informed throughout. John takes pride in his craftsmanship and paid attention to the details. Among his many projects was installation of a new front door. Because the new door didn’t fit the same as the old door, there was a gap between the new door and the tile floor. John made sure he found matching tile and carefully filled the gap. When John was installing hardwood floors in our home, he discovered that some of the stairs were not level. He corrected the problem. When discussing a project idea, John shared his thoughts when he knew something would not “look right.” Other reasons we hired John as our contractor: • Sometimes, John’s wife, Sandy, would come to help him. She always was a happy, smiling, energetic presence. • Our dog recognized John before he even arrived at the door. She greeted him enthusiastically. If we weren’t home while John was working, he would let the dog in and out the back door. • We never worried about the security of our home or belongings if we couldn’t be home while John was working.
