Typical bathroom remodel around $36,300
When a water pipe was leaking under one recent Google customer's slab, JMC Plumbing and Remodeling showed up immediately and snaked a new pipe through the wall and behind the cupboards to the sink, which that customer said saved them a lot of money. A 2025 customer said Jeff took care of a clogged sink promptly, walked them through the issues with their plumbing system and tried the cheaper option first, which worked. A 2017 customer described a complete bathroom remodel with unexpected challenges and said it was kept within budget. A 2026 customer hired the company to remove two sections of heating baseboards and loop the pipes, and said the job required a 50% deposit and was rescheduled multiple times. That 2026 customer said the deposit invoice carried a sales tax line the company later said covered Square processing fees, and that a text demanded payment within three hours of completion after a check was declined. A 2026 customer said the worker broke their power vent and wanted more money to fix it, that a permit was needed and not obtained, and that the water heater installed was not up to code. In 2023, a customer said the problem was not adequately fixed and that payment had been demanded upfront without a refund. New Hampshire lists a plumber licence, MBE1901167, as expired, held by JMC Plumbing and Remodeling.
Great people that have done outstanding work for us. They’ve done quite a bit for us and it’s always been outstanding service. We also had a water pipe leaking under our slab and they showed up immediately. They were able to snake a new pipe through the wall and behind our cupboards to the sink. Saved us a lot of money. Highly recommend!
This was the worst experience of my life with a so called professional. Not only was he rude and always causing issues and asking for more money after initial contract but he broke our power vent and wanted more money to fix it. Now we find out he needed a permit and did not obtain one and the entire water heater installed is not up to code. He never installed the correct parts and refuses to come back. Now we have to hire another plumber for more money! He has been reported.
I hired JMC Plumbing and Remodeling to remove two sections of heating baseboards and loop the pipes, and the experience was extremely frustrating. The project was rescheduled multiple times and the team arrived late, which could have caused major scheduling delays with other contractors. To avoid paying a substantial sum for having the other crews wait, I ended up draining the entire heating zone, removing one of the baseboard sections, and looping the pipework myself before the plumber even arrived. At one point, I seriously considered cancelling the project and forfeiting the deposit — which, in hindsight, would have been the safer choice. The final invoice did fall within the estimated range, but it was on the high end, which was surprising given the work I had already completed before the plumber arrived. When I raised questions about the flat-rate pricing on the final invoice versus the work I had already completed, the company showed no willingness to adjust the invoice or discuss discrepancies in detail. To make matters worse, they sent a text demanding payment within three hours of completing the work, after declining to accept a check, which felt unnecessarily aggressive. In addition, the initial deposit included a “sales tax” line that was actually a Square processing fee, which is misleading. This was removed when I questioned it, but did raise concerns before the work even began. While the baseboard removal and pipe looping were technically completed, the overall process felt disorganized, unfair, and stressful. I will not be using this company again and cannot recommend their services.
I hired JMC Plumbing and Remodeling to remove two sections of heating baseboards and loop the pipes, and the experience was frustrating from start to finish. The project required a 50% deposit, which seemed high for such a small job, and was rescheduled multiple times, creating potential delays for other contractors. To avoid extra costs, I ended up completing part of the work myself before the plumber arrived. The final invoice was higher than expected, even though part of the work had already been done and the overall scope had been reduced. The deposit invoice included a sales tax line for a job in New Hampshire, which is not required; the company later said it was to cover Square processing fees. Attempts to discuss pricing or request adjustments were not successful, and I received a text demanding payment within three hours of completion, after they declined a check. Overall, the process was disorganized and unprofessional, and I will not be using this company again.
Jeff is a great guy and super friendly. I had a clogged sink which he took care of very promptly and for a great price. He walked me through what was going on and what issues my plumbing system had. With a multi step plan and in the interest of saving money he opted to try the cheaper option first which turned out to work. Would definitely hire again, thanks much.
