John A Barresi

John A Barresi is a Dorchester-based general contractor whose BuildZoom permit history is long but dated: 30 permitted projects recorded across Dorchester, Milton, Brookline, several Newton neighborhoods, Jamaica Plain, Boston and Stow, with only 2 of them in the past three years. What to know before calling: BuildZoom's profile carries an alert that no active license is currently on file. Two Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor registrations (#113498 and #195884) and a Construction Supervisor license (CS-060105) are each listed inactive, and BuildZoom notes all three were at one point cancelled by the state. Two additional Newton-issued licences on the profile are unverified and list 2022 expirations. The permit record itself is also split across three different owner names — John A Barresi, John Barresi and Milo Stella — so it isn't clear whether every listed project belongs to the same person. Anyone considering him should confirm his current license status directly with the state before signing anything.
