John R Silvio

Twelve building permits between 2004 and 2021, spread across Haverhill, Methuen and Salisbury — that is the working shape of John R Silvio Construction, run out of 61 Greenough St in Haverhill. Most of those jobs were deck rebuilds, with kitchen and bath remodels making up much of the rest. It is the profile of a builder who stays close to home and takes on the projects a North Shore homeowner actually calls about: tearing off a rotted rear deck and rebuilding it, or gutting and redoing a kitchen or bathroom. BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #110048, for the company. A sensible call if you want a local builder for a deck or a kitchen or bath project in the Haverhill area. Before you sign, look up that registration number yourself on the state's Home Improvement Contractor register, ask for a current certificate of insurance, and ask for the addresses of a couple of recent decks or remodels you can go see.
