John's Excavation, LLC

Last fall my wife Sheila and I contacted John's Excavation for an estimate on a new patio and driveway we planned for this year. From the first call we were greeted with a positive response and Eric was very prompt when it came down to provide us with the estimate. This was a project 43 years in the making for us and from the start of the project until completion it took about a week. We have been very impressed with the service and workmanship of Eric and his staff. They were professional and any questions we may have had were always answered. At one point I did have to contact Eric with a question or two and he responded back the very next day. Today was the final day for the finished blacktop and the crew did just a phenomenal job with great attention to detail. The final finish work will happen later with the finished grading around the perimeter of the blacktop and concrete patio. Our thanks to Eric and his crew for their excellent service.

Don’t know why anyone hires these guys, workers stand around doing nothing, or playing with tools (for example using a chop saw to mark a line in dirt) h.r representative is rude and doesn’t care so don’t try to make a complaint, and don’t expect to be able to sleep past 7am as long as their around.

Terrible job. Took a week longer to do the job. No courtesy for the people that lived in the complex they were paving. One worker was screaming and swearing at a resident for no reason. I witnessed the situation. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend them for any work at all!!!

Just have to say I am tired of asking for a good plowing. Last storm they did half the job mid storm and didn't come back to clean it up. It is always the same excuse "it was a new guy" when you have a business it's basic practice to do your best not a half ___ job and call it good. So the customer has to call and ask yet again for a better job. I don't like calling and nether does my husband,but yet again my son got stuck in the driveway tonight. I had to go help him get unstuck at 7pm . For 85.00 I should not have to beg for a proper job. So sick of winter and for this very reason. We keep giving grace but come on guys. 1Corinthians 10:31 So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do everything for the glory of God.

If you want a decent reliable plow service this is not it. I have been dealing with issues with them constantly through the years. My driveway was not cleared today. I called Patty who has failed to communicate before though she did have someone call me and come back to clear it. He did not clear it. When I asked him to he advised me he had other things to do and have a good day. He said he had never been here before. The gentleman on the phone said he knew the property and what I was speaking of. At any rate job was not done. Again I would choose to never use this company. The workers poor attitude was the worst part of it. Last year they broke a number of items on our other property and agreed they would come up and help fix at least the split rail fence. After numerous conversations and promises from Patty nothing was done. Jan 30. 2019 I would like to say that today John's was very attentive. This due to a driver and employee named Christian. He was wonderful, polite and did an outstanding job. Thank You Christian
