Driveways that move water away from the house are a recurring subject in Western Mass Construction's customer accounts. A July 2026 Google reviewer described replacing an old driveway, regrading it to address drainage, and restoring a garage foundation. The customer praised Brian's prompt responses and clear updates throughout the work. The company says it serves homeowners, businesses, and municipalities throughout Berkshire County, Massachusetts, and surrounding areas. Its website describes paving and asphalt installation, claims more than 23 years of experience, and advertises free estimates and insurance. Google lists a five-star average from 22 ratings. Several customers describe what happened after installation. In a May 2026 review, a repeat customer said Western Mass Construction had leveled an uneven backyard and later redone their driveway. They reported that the driveway still looked good after a year and a half. When a small area developed a problem the customer attributed to Mother Nature, Brian returned to repair it. A June reviewer described issues involving town flushing; they said Brian responded quickly, repaired the work, and kept the driveway installation within the planned timelines. A separate May customer praised drainage installed to carry gutter water away from their house and said the work did not break the bank. In a February 2026 review, another customer said their reconstructed driveway remained smooth and crack-free a year and a half later, with a slope that kept water out of the garage.
Brian and Western Mass Construction are top-tier. We hired them to replace our ancient driveway and restore part of our garage that was dealing with major foundation problems. From start to finish, the craftsmanship and attention to detail were incredible, and Brian was pleasant to work with and always kept lines of communication open with prompt responses and clear updates. The final product is immaculate, featuring a seamless driveway that was regraded perfectly to address drainage issues and a solid, perfectly restored foundation. Brian’s dedication to quality work and client satisfaction is second to none. We can't recommend him highly enough and would hire him again in a heartbeat.
I cannot recommend Brian and his team enough. Very professional, timely and does quality work. He was very responsive throughout the entire process. We had a couple of issues with the town flushing and Brian responded quickly and repaired the work and we were able to meet the timelines still. Went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the driveway install. Highly recommended-both myself and wife are real estate agents and will recommend him to our clients.
Brian and his team were professional, respectful AND kind! We had drainage put in to gather the water from our gutters and daylight away from our house. The work was detailed, very well done and did not break the bank. I highly recommend them.
10/10! Fair price. Great work. Wonderful to work with. I have used Western MA Construction twice now. First to level out an uneven backyard and then to completely redo a driveway. I called a few companies to get multiple quotes and ended up going with WMC and am very happy that I did. Brian was great with communication, very efficient and his team does top notch work. It’s been a year and a half since my driveway was done and it’s still looking great. I ended up having an issue with a small part of the driveway (Mother Natures fault, not WMC’s) and I reached out to Brian to ask what I should do. He immediately said he could help and repaired the area for me. Absolute gem of a company!
Brian reconstructed our driveway a year and a half ago. He was prompt, professional, and very detail-oriented. The driveway was perfectly smooth, has held together with no cracks, and is sloped at a perfect angle to keep water out of our garage. If you never cared about your driveway but need to have it replaced, be prepared to fall in love with the finished project! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
