Jonathan Borges Master Electrician works out of Boston, and the one detailed job on file gives a sense of the work: in a 2022 review, a homeowner described him rewiring a 1900 Victorian's attic remodel — pulling out old knob-and-tube wiring and running new switches, outlets, dimmers and wiring for four rooms and a loft — calling him fast, efficient, and true to what he said he'd do. His Massachusetts electrician license (#23042) is active, verified against the state registry, and BuildZoom's permit history shows 16 completed projects under his name. There's not much written history beyond that one review, so it's worth asking for recent references on a job similar to yours before booking.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Jonathan Borges Master Electrician. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Standard receptacle swaps — a new dedicated circuit is a bigger job ($350–$750).
Flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers — hung on existing boxes.

Very responsive and knowledgeable. Did the electrical wiring for our attic remodel. Removed old knob and tube (1900 Victorian) and added new switch box, outlets, switches, dimmers and all wiring for 4 rooms and a lofted area. Fast, efficient, friendly and did what he said he would do. I can strongly recommend Jonathan and his work.
