Joseph Lapomardo runs a one-man electrical business out of 5 White Avenue, Worcester. Massachusetts electrician licence 50236 comes back active in the state registry under JOSEPH G LAPOMARDO, and HomeAdvisor lists the same number with a 07/31/2028 expiry. His own blurb narrows the work sharply: service upgrades and panel changes, EV car chargers, and generator hookups. EV charger installation is what customers hire him for. A homeowner writes that he "was upfront with pricing—no surprises, just a fair and reasonable quote", and another that the charger install "looks great, and didn't take that long to do" after he called back about three minutes after the job was posted on a Saturday and came out the same day. Panel work runs a close second: a December 2025 reviewer described him updating "a 60 year old fuse box system to a 200 amp ready, all breaker system all in one day", moving the new box six inches clear of a copper heating pipe and photographing the work for the wiring inspector. Speed and reachability come up more than anything else. One reviewer says he "responded within 5 minutes of the job posting", visited within the hour and started the next day in bitter cold; another that he "Came for an estimate the day we called" and scheduled the work for the following day over a holiday weekend. Price is the second refrain — "very fair on pricing the job", "so reasonably priced", "excellent service and very reasonable" recur across separate 2025 and 2026 accounts. Word of mouth agrees. A 2025 r/WorcesterMA commenter wrote that he had "had him run new wires, replace my panels, upgrade my service drops, etc." and "won't use anyone else", and a 2020 thread answering a request for Worcester trades simply named "Joe lapomardo for electric." The caveats are about shape, not substance. Effectively the entire written record sits on one platform — HomeAdvisor shows 5.0 from 270 ratings, 95% of them five stars, but only 25 bodies are readable and one of those the page itself prints as "Blank". BBB has a file open since 2017 but rates the business "Not Rated" for want of information, and a Porch listing under the name variant "Joe Lapomardo Electrical Services" carries a placeholder address of "123 Main Street, Worcester, MA" and a machine-built service-area list. For a panel upgrade, a service change, an EV charger or a generator hookup in the Worcester area, this is a strong, current, well-documented pick. Ask about anything outside those three lines, since that is the work he says he does, and confirm licence 50236 with the state.
“lectrician-reviews-1.htm?msockid=1d135b0a696e68b627834ec4686969f6) - I know his page there has a bunch of reviews about Tesla chargers but he does a ton of other electrical. I've had him run new wires, replace my panels, upgrade my service drops, etc. won't use anyone else - great guy and fair prices.”
“Joe lapomardo for electric.”
Joe was great, from beginning to end. He called me about 3 minutes after I submitted the job on a Saturday. He came out later that day to assess the project and came back on Sunday morning to do it. The EV charger install looks great, and didn't take that long to do. He 3ven took time to explain how to use it and what to do to submit for the Nationalgrid rebate.
Great Job. The whole system is still operational in Summer 2026.
Joe was amazing! Came for an estimate the day we called. Scheduled the work for the next day, even though it was a holiday weekend. The job was done quicky and efficiently. Walked us through the Eversource rebate program to make sure everthing was correct. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and we would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!
Joseph was an absolute pleasure to work with. He showed up on time, communicated clearly, and worked incredibly efficiently. I had been stressed about the cost of installing an EV charger, but he not only offered a fair, reasonable price, he also made sure I knew about the National Grid rebate, which was a huge help. He handled everything: running a new 240‑volt line from the basement panel, installing conduit outside to the driveway, hardwiring my ChargePoint Home Flex, and adding the breaker. The quality of his work shows—clean, professional, and built to last. If you want someone honest, skilled, and easy to work with, Joseph is your guy. Note: White cables are from Govee house lights not EV Charger
Joe was extremely quick at installing the EV charger at my home. He got the whole project done within a few hours for an extremely reasonable price. Believe it or not, Amazon delivery (my fault) was the bottleneck on him finishing sooner. But, Joe even offered to come by in the evening to finish once the charger arrived. He also told me how to apply for the Eversource rebate. I can't recommend Joe enough for electrical work!
