Called first thing in the morning with an emergency, a Worcester customer wrote in December 2025, Joe Zambarano showed up within the hour, fixed the problem and explained it in terms a non-electrician could follow. That kind of call comes up again and again for Zambarano Electric, a Coburn Avenue shop that describes itself as a second-generation family business serving Central Massachusetts for over 40 years. BBB lists Joseph J. Zambarano as the owner, gives the company an A+ and shows it as accredited. The Massachusetts electrician licence #12446 is active on the state registry, held in the name of Joseph J Zambarano. All 19 Google ratings are five stars, and the reviews are mostly about Joe himself. In a March 2026 review, a customer who had used him for routine and emergency work said he got to the house quickly and worked 10+ hours for two days to finish the job. A June 2025 customer with a range problem said he traced it to the smart box connected to their generator, bypassed it to get them running and planned to return to install the new part. Another in July 2025 said he found the existing wiring was not what was expected and worked out a solution that improved their lighting. A March 2025 reviewer credited him with installing a generator plug during a hard winter. The jobs span the ordinary and the urgent: recessed lights in May 2025, an EV charger in a driveway in October 2025, and two jobs, one big and one small, done for a customer who was at work both times. An April 2026 reviewer said there were no surprises on pricing, and the December 2025 customer called the price fair. The company says it covers Worcester and surrounding towns including Auburn, Shrewsbury, Millbury, Grafton, Holden and Westborough, for residential and commercial customers.
Zambarano Electric is the real deal. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, professional, and efficient. The team showed up on time, was extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly before getting started. The quality of work was outstanding clean, precise, and done right the first time. You can tell they take pride in what they do, which is hard to come by these days. Communication was great throughout the job, and there were no surprises when it came to pricing. If you’re looking for a reliable electrician in the Worcester area, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend Zambarano Electric.
Great experience highly recommend. Joe was easy to work with and went above and beyond my expectations. Will definitely be using in the future
I have hired Joe for both routine and, more recently, emergency work. He got to the house quickly and worked 10+ hours for 2 days to get the job done. He is fast, highly skilled and easy to do business with. I highly recommend him.
Huge thanks to Joe and Zambarano Electric! Called first thing in the morning with an emergency and he showed up within the hour and fixed the problem and had us up and running! From the first phone call to issue resolved he handled the job with such professionalism. Explained everything in terms that a non electrician can understand and gave a fair price for superb work! Will absolutely recommend Zambarano to everyone I know! Plan to have Joe back for any future needs! Huge thank you again Joe and Zambarano Electric!
Can we give 6 stars? We needed an EV charger in our driveway and basically we blinked and the thing was juicing up our new ride. From estimate, to installation, to quality check, Joe made this process an absolute breeze.
