JP Glazing

A previous owner had spray-painted a 67-year-old porcelain tub navy blue. It looked terrible and could not be got clean — until, as the homeowner wrote in November 2025, it came back shiny and white. That is the JP Glazing job in one line: the fixture everybody assumed would have to be torn out, brought back in a day. JP Glazing is a Boston refinishing company working across Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire on bathtubs, tile, sinks, showers and kitchen and jacuzzi surfaces. Juan runs it, with Leiron and Frank doing much of the on-site work. It is a certified Minority Business Enterprise with the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office, registered as Pegueros, Inc. doing business as JP Glazing, with that certification active through November 2027. The work is fast and usually one visit. A bathroom sink reglazed in three hours in February 2026. A tub finished in three to four hours in January 2026, after the technician arrived early. A clawfoot tub roughly a century old and unused for twenty years brought back this past March. A contractor who hires them for his own jobs wrote in September 2025 that the prep and taping were immaculate, and that his customers liked the one-day transformations even more than he did. Quotes usually start with photographs. Customers in August and December 2025 sent pictures and had a price back immediately, and more than one compared it favourably with other bids. Two customers in May 2026 singled out the pricing itself — one said any additional costs were flagged up front, the other that there were no surprises at all. A September 2025 customer also noted the low-VOC product used on her condo's dated pink tub and 1980s tile, along with a suggestion to regrout that she was glad she took. When something does go wrong, what customers describe is the company coming back. A tile job in November 2025 peeled slightly when the tape came off and Frank returned to put it right. In October 2025 a glaze came out the wrong colour, and Juan redid the job without charging again. One July 2025 customer brought them in to strip and re-glaze a tub another company had left a mess. The exception is scheduling. In February 2025 a customer wrote that JP Glazing never showed for a booked appointment, never called and never apologised. It is the only complaint of its kind here, but confirm your slot the day before. A September 2025 customer also ended up crossed with the crew over the caulking strip at the front of the tub.
