JP Pest Services runs out of Milford, New Hampshire, and homeowners across the region call it for the full run of household pests — ants, mice, wasps, termites and the wildlife that gets into attics and crawl spaces. The Better Business Bureau lists its services as pest control, wildlife control, mosquito control and termite control, which matches what customers actually describe hiring it to do. Customers have been writing about this company since 2021, and Google carries a 4.7-star average across 1,217 ratings. What comes up again and again is the field staff: reviewers name their technicians — Scott, Christian, Nick, Haley, Connor, Mike, Alex, Phil, Zach — and credit them with arriving on time, working the whole property, and explaining what they found and why it matters. Several accounts are specific about outcomes. One homeowner had mouse entry points found and plugged around the exterior of the house; another had bats cleared out of an attic by Phil and his partner, who did what the quote said and cleaned up afterwards. A ground wasp nest got handled the same day a technician happened to drive past and stopped. A gnat infestation that had resisted other attempts finally stopped. Customers on the quarterly plan, some of them five and seven years in, describe steady results between visits. The complaints are a minority, but they cluster, and they are about the office rather than the treatment. One customer in February 2026 booked three appointments and had no technician show up for any of them. Two reviewers in 2024 described calls that were never returned — one waited three months for a callback and hired a different company in the meantime. In August 2026 another reviewer said the phone system would not take a message and a supervisor would not give a direct number. A few reviewers question value. That same month, one described three visits of under half an hour each over an ongoing yellowjacket and wasp problem. A customer who moved between New Hampshire towns in 2026 said the replacement contract was considerably more expensive than the one it replaced. A 2023 reviewer said the indoor treatment held for about two months but the outdoor service did not deliver, and a 2025 reviewer said wasp nests were still under the gutter after a home protection plan visit. The Better Business Bureau grades the business B-. If you want an established regional firm whose technicians know New England pest pressure and will walk you through the work, this is a reasonable call, particularly for rodents and stinging insects. Before you sign, get the scope, the per-visit price and the renewal terms in writing, and ask how they handle a missed appointment.
Professional, courteous and great attention to detail.
Always very thorough and willing to help with whatever pest needs we have!
The calvary arrived! Just as my neighbor was sharing the location of a ground wasp nest along a popular pedestrian area which my property borders, JP Pest drove by and stopped when he saw us waving. After a brief explanation, Scott immediately called the home office to get approval to treat the nest right then. Approval was provided quickly and Scott suited up to evict the unwanted yard guests. The customer service provided by Scott was outstanding. Scott could have driven by, but he did not. Thanks to him, our friends and neighbors are safe to enjoy their outdoor walks/runs.
Good Afternoon, my experience has been really good. The worker's that have been coming here are on top of things. They are respectful and do there job very well. Thank you!
