A1 Exterminators works New Hampshire pest jobs out of an office on Amherst Street in Nashua, and the customers who write about it have known the operation a long time. One Nashua customer says they have used "So. NH Pest Control (Sub of A1)" for about 30 years with no complaints about the product or the office staff; another still calls the company SNPC. Others date their accounts at over 20 years, over 15 years and over a decade. What people actually hire them for is specific and recurring: skunk trapping, wasp and hornet nests, carpenter ants, mice and rats, termites, and seasonal exterior and tick programs. A homeowner with skunks called on a Thursday, had traps on Monday, and had a technician return every day for five days until the animals were caught and moved. Another had a wasp nest inside a wall treated the next day, on time, and hasn't heard a wasp since. A carpenter-ant customer credits a technician named Rakeem with explaining the problem and the treatment before work started. Named staff come up again and again, which is unusual and worth noting: Joe on rodent work, Nikki, Rob, Thomas, Brett, John on a critter in a ceiling, and Sabrina in the office. Long-term customers describe the routine the same way — advance notice of the visit, a technician who arrives inside the window, an emailed reminder before the next service, and a guarantee that brings them back to re-treat if something is missed. The complaints cluster in two places. Multi-unit properties are the harder story: two residents of the same kind of complex report five or more visits over eight months with roaches still appearing, and one says the technicians did not treat or lay bait because the source was believed to be a neighbouring unit. Scheduling is the other: one customer waited through a morning after a night shift for a technician who never came and was told afterwards they had been moved to a "reschedule list" without being notified, and another cancelled service over technicians arriving unannounced on dates other than the ones booked. An ant customer in 2022 said the treatment made no difference and asked for a refund, and a rodent customer got a lazy first visit before a service manager came back out. They are a reasonable call for single-family pest work in the Nashua area, particularly wildlife, stinging insects and rodents. Confirm in writing who your technician will be, the exact appointment date and window, and what the return-visit guarantee covers before the first treatment — and if you are in a condo or apartment complex, ask directly how they handle a source in a neighbouring unit.
“Well, there’s no control, they just keep refilling them and report that the rat problem persists.”

As a property manager a reliable pest control vendor is very important and we've relying on A1 for years now and they continue to deliver reliable quality service.
Extremely responsive to my requests to get rid of some skunks. Called on Thursday and on Monday they showed up with traps. They came back every day for 5 days and caught a couple of skunks which they safely moved
Terrible. They've been here five times to my complex and we still have roaches from another neighbor, for the past 8 months. Baby and adults pop up randomly. Not a ton but still........Like why?
Great job!! No more Bees 🐝 Thank you
