Wasps had built a nest inside a window's drywall and left it soft; Fancy Finish cut the damage out and put the wall back. That job, described in an October 2025 review, is the shape of most of what this Haverhill crew gets called for — drywall repair, patched ceilings, dents and cracks filled before paint. On Thumbtack the company holds a 5.0 average across 30 ratings, and the recent write-ups are specific about how a job goes. A customer in August 2026 had a dining room ceiling repaired, then noticed a water stain still showing after the crew left; they came right back out, put on a few more coats, and the stain was gone. Another August 2026 review says the crew arrived on time and cleaned up before leaving. A June 2026 customer named Kyle and John, called them kind and honest people with good skills, and was happy with the price. One writing in September 2025 mentioned the communication, the clean-up, and that they were respectful to the dog. The older half of its written history reads differently. Its Angi page carries ten ratings averaging 2.8, written between 2005 and 2007, and they split hard. A customer writing in October 2007 said the work was never done and the money never came back; another that November said their tiles were removed and thrown out on a promise of matching ones from a Woburn store, and the contractor returned saying he could not get them; a third, in July 2007, was still waiting on a promised quote after nearly two weeks. The same years hold customers who liked John's speed — an October 2007 review describes a same-day estimate and the work done the next day, and a December 2005 customer wrote that John was there before they knew it and the backsplash was already done. Its Thumbtack profile describes a family business three generations and 52 years deep, and names Michael Haritas as the owner. For drywall — a stained ceiling, a soft patch under a window, cracks before a repaint — the 2025 and 2026 work is the part of this history to weigh. Get the scope and the price in writing before the first cut, and settle up front what a return visit covers if a patch needs another coat.
No complaints. They repaired my dining room ceiling quickly and professionally. When they left, my wife and I noticed that we could still see some of the water stain. They came right back out and put on a few more coats. Water stain is gone completely and it looked like nothing happened. Will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.
Drywall repair turned great! Arrived on time, worked skillfully, and cleaned up nicely before leaving. I was very happy and would use again.
Kyle and John did an amazing job with dry wall repair for us. Their price was unbeatable as well. They are kind and honest people with good skills.
Amazing work! They fixed our window drywall where wasps had built a nest and made it soft. Super quick efficient and great work with attention to detail. Highly recommend fancy finish and would be hiring them again for other house projects!!
Very professional, cleaned up after themselves. Communication was good and they are very generous. Quality of work is 10/10. Very respectful to my dog as well. Highly recommend to anyone that need drywall work done.
