A huge pine close to a house, removed with a crane and followed by a spotless cleanup, is how a July 2026 Google reviewer described JSK Tree Care’s work. The East Falmouth company says it is locally owned and provides residential and commercial tree removal, pruning, trimming, stump removal and storm cleanup. Its stated service area includes Falmouth, Barnstable, Hyannis, Yarmouth and nearby Cape Cod communities. Recent customers describe both removals and decisions about tree care. A June 2026 reviewer said Shay examined their apple orchard and gave pruning advice; the same customer had also used the team for tree removal. Another June reviewer praised careful removal and pruning with a clean yard afterward. In May, a customer who hired JSK for a day said foreman Ben and his crew removed all the trees they wanted gone. Google’s August 2026 listing showed a 4.9-star average from 115 ratings. Some older accounts describe demanding work around houses and utilities. In a February 2023 Google review, a homeowner recalled removal of an 80-foot Norway spruce on a narrow dead-end street near power lines. They said the crane secured and moved the tree before it was sectioned and chipped, and the crew cleared the debris. A September 2023 reviewer described Shay recommending removal for some trees and pruning for others, with several trees saved during the work. In a March 2026 review, another homeowner described JSK digging a trench for a new electrical service line and coordinating with their electrician. Stump-work follow-up drew a specific complaint. An April 2026 Google reviewer said JSK promptly removed two trees after a blizzard but did not return for the promised stump grinding. After waiting a month and making repeated calls and texts, the customer hired someone else. An August 2025 reviewer described a different result: after removing six large locust trees and some smaller trees, the crew returned the next weekend to grind the six large stumps. Price assessments also vary by account. The July 2026 pine-removal customer praised the price, while a May 2019 Thumbtack reviewer said a fallen branch was removed promptly but the cost was too steep to continue work on that tree. A May 2025 Google reviewer also complained about driving by people in tree-service vehicles, identifying them as “JKS tree service”; that was an allegation about road behaviour rather than a completed tree job.
