Between September 2023 and August 2025 the permits cover an in-place kitchen renovation, a two-bathroom retile with heated floors, a garage demolished and rebuilt on its existing foundation, a radiator-to-heat-pump conversion with a new combi boiler, and a rear addition for a new kitchen and dining area valued at $330,500. BuildZoom's own breakdown counts four kitchen remodels, three multi-room remodels and three additions, and it scores the company 100 — a number it says puts them above 87% of Massachusetts contractors on its own scale. What is not there is anyone's account of how those jobs went. BuildZoom states it has received no reviews for the business. So the shape is clear even if the experience isn't: a small outfit doing sizeable, permitted renovation work in one tight patch of Brookline and Chestnut Hill, three years deep. Worth a call if that is your project and your neighbourhood. Before signing, sort out the licensing — BuildZoom's line for them reads 'Not Required', which is the directory's own record rather than a state check, and an odd fit for a company pulling addition and garage permits. Ask for the construction supervisor licence and home improvement contractor registration numbers, and for two or three of those Brookline addresses you can go and look at.
