In August 2026 a customer's moving plans changed at the last minute, and JTR fit them in anyway — a lot of belongings, three flights of stairs, done fast. Short notice and hard staircases are much of what this Worcester crew gets called for. JTR Enterprises LLC, which also trades as JTR Mover Services, works out of 462 Grafton St in Worcester. The company says Logan Asem founded it in 2013 and built it with no franchise and no outside investors, and describes itself as family-owned and locally owned, 13 years in. Alongside residential, apartment, office and long-distance moves it offers packing, storage, junk removal, driveway seal coating and power washing, and says it covers Worcester out to Boston, Cambridge and Providence. In a September 2025 review a customer said the crew moved a two-bedroom apartment in two hours, furniture wrapped — and quick is the word that keeps coming up. Several accounts involve stairs: the third floor of a triple decker in April 2026; a third-floor apartment carried up by hand the same day it was booked, in September 2025; heavy furniture worked through a narrow entryway and up a tight set of stairs in a November 2025 review, after which the crew assembled a recliner. On Google the company averages 4.9 stars across 853 ratings, with written accounts running back to 2021. Several reviewers name Logan directly, and two of them describe a father-and-son team — one in March 2026, one in November 2025. The work runs small as well as large: a September 2025 customer who bought a sofa at an outlet that would not deliver it hired JTR to bring it home. A July 2026 reviewer moving their mother into a new house after a death in the family wrote that the crew made sure she felt safe and comfortable. Two things are worth raising on the call. A one-star reviewer in April 2026 wrote that after a quote and a move date were set, they asked for a copy of the current licence and insurance policy, as they do with every mover, were told no one had asked before and that proof of insurance would be hard to get, and were dropped. And in an August 2025 review, a customer who otherwise praised the crew said a couple of things broke during the move. Its Better Business Bureau page carries an A+ grade and lists licences issued by the state's Transportation Division and the U.S. Department of Transportation. For a short-notice local move, a walk-up, or furniture that has to come apart and go back together, this is a practical call. Ask for the DOT number and a current certificate of insurance in writing before the date is set, and settle up front how damage to an item is handled.
