Juliano Electric is Nick Juliano's one-man electrical outfit, and the calls that land on his Thumbtack profile lean toward everyday fixture and fan work rather than big rewiring jobs. He's a Massachusetts-licensed Journeyman electrician β verified through Thumbtack's own background and license check β and has logged 38 projects and 70 hires on the platform. The reviews on file, all from 2025 and 2026, describe him showing up on time and moving fast: one homeowner said a ceiling fan install "took 20 to 30 mins, seamless," while another walked through the whole visit step by step β junction box, fuse box, fan assembly β and called it "nice and easy." Several customers specifically flag the price as fair rather than just praising the work in general terms, and more than one said they'd hire him again. Thumbtack lists 4.6 stars across 28 ratings for the business, and its own breakdown shows about 11% of those scores fall below five stars β none of the five written reviews here describe what went wrong in those cases, so it's worth asking around before booking anything larger than a fixture swap. He's a reasonable pick for straightforward jobs β installing a fixture, swapping a fan, chasing down a wiring problem β from someone whose license Thumbtack has actually checked, though the profile doesn't yet show a track record on bigger rewiring or panel work.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages β not a quote from Juliano Electric. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Standard receptacle swaps β a new dedicated circuit is a bigger job ($350β$750).
Flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers β hung on existing boxes.
Estimated range
$530 β $1,100
Typical electrical project around $820
Nick was easy to work with. Fixture installation was done professionally and at a fair price. All around excellent!
He arrived at the specified time slots, we spoke and I indicated where the ceiling fan was to go and the existing junction box for the fan on the ceiling truss, showed him the fuse box in the basement, and offered any help and the use of a taller step ladder if needed. He unpacked and assembled the fan, installed it and the specified height, turned the power back on, and went over the remote-control functions with me and the manual. He then gathered up and put aside the fan box and other packing items and left. Everything went nice and easy. Thanks.
Nick is a great hire! Heβs very responsive, professional and did a great job installing my ceiling fan. A truly nice guy and pleasure to work with and would not hesitate to refer or hire him again in the future.
Nick did a pretty good job with the fan install. Probably took 20 to 30 mins, seamless. Highly recommended. Provided contact info just in case any problem arises. Thank you!
The electrician, Nick, was friendly, prompt, courteous, and humble. He did my fixture replacements for a very reasonable price, was very professional, neat, and a good listener. :) I am thrilled to have found him through Thumbtack. Will definitely contact him again if the need arises, and I recommend him enthusiastically! Sandy O.
