Julio's Tile Designs is a small, name-on-the-door tile operation in Methuen — Julio works with his son, and the reviews on file are almost entirely about rescuing or redoing tile and floor work rather than running full room remodels. The clearest account: a 2026 review describes a kitchen a previous contractor had abandoned mid-job due to illness — no backsplash, a torn-up floor, sheetrock needing repair. Julio came out, gave a fair quote with no padding, and had a new floor and backsplash in within the following week, with the subfloor rebuilt solid underneath. A separate 2026 review describes Julio and his son handling a shower tile repair efficiently at a competitive price, and a 2025 review describes a fast tile job at a friend's salon. All three reviews on record are five stars, though the sample is small, and there's no licensing or BBB information on file to weigh in either direction. Worth a look for a tile-focused job — a backsplash, a shower, a damaged floor — where a small, hands-on crew and a fair quote matter; given the thin public record, ask for a couple of references before a bigger job.
I met Julio and his team after I started a small kitchen remodel. The previous contractor couldn't finish due to illness. Needless to say my kitchen was a mess. No backsplash, in need of sheetrock repair, floor partially removed. Julio showed up to view the job and was on time and professional, he put me at ease right away. He sent me a very fair quote for the job, no extra fluff to raise the prices. He and the team came on a Wednesday and finished on the following Wednesday..new Floor and new backsplash! They repaired the subfloor underneath so everything is so solid and even! They fixed all the sheetrock issues and backsplash looks perfect too! Julio son Gerardo and tile assistant Andrew cleaned up so awesome everyday, removed all trash and debris from job. They wiped down everything, leaving me no dust. Julio even tightened the legs on my kitchen table!! All I can say is that they went above and beyond what I expected from a contractor. Thanks Julio!
Julio and his son performed a superlative repair of our shower. They communicated promptly to our inquiry, provided a competitive price, and finished the job efficiently. We highly recommend Julio Tile Design!
