HomeAdvisor's profile puts the experience at 18 years and lists free estimates. The work homeowners describe is bigger than decorating. A 2025 reviewer wrote that Christal and her building team designed and installed an outdoor living space with a patio, a custom-designed fire pit and a sitting area over an ocean view, along with architectural upgrades to the home's exterior. A 2022 Google reviewer had a sloped lakefront lot with setback problems and got a half-circle stone patio with knee-high walls, plus shallow stone stairs cut into the grade. Two homeowners writing in 2023 described whole first floors reworked — one in an 1850s house, one in a 1916 coastal farmhouse. The other recurring theme is money and time. A 2025 bathroom remodel was described as finished on schedule with the budget kept in view; another 2025 reviewer said her ideas were executed within budget and timelines, and credited her store connections, from Restoration Hardware to a local garden center, with saving both. In 2023, homeowners kept mentioning the trade team she arrives with rather than her drawings — one pointed straight at her general contractor for quality work delivered on time. Two things to weigh. Several Houzz entries were written by people who work with her, not for her: a photographer who shoots her projects, a tile company that has worked alongside her for more than ten years, and a builder who does her additions and built-ins. They are genuine, but they are colleagues, not clients. And the written trail stops in November 2025 — the whole history runs 2021 to 2025, so there is nothing current to weigh her against. On licensing, Houzz shows a "License Number" of LLC 82-3653591 on the profile. That is the directory's entry, not something confirmed against the state registry, and because this is remodeling rather than an exempt specialty, ask her directly for the Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration. She is the right call for a homeowner who knows a space isn't working but can't picture the fix — especially in an older house, and especially when the job runs from the plan through the build. Ask who holds the contract for the construction itself, and get the registration confirmed before anything is signed.
