Just Jay 'N Tree Service says on its website that it has served Strafford County, NH, since 1984. A 2025 customer said Jay had the equipment needed to haul cut logs uphill on a difficult job. A 2024 customer said Jay removed about 20 trees, including two huge hemlocks in a tight backyard, leaving barely a track on the newly planted lawn. A 2023 customer described a 100-foot swamp maple ten feet from the house and said Jay climbed and limbed it without a bucket truck, removed the crowns and bucked the burnable wood for the customer to keep. A 2023 customer said Jay climbed and removed five red oaks, two leaning partly over the house, without cranes or heavy trucks driving over the yard. A 2022 customer said Jay removed dead trees near the house, pruned others and ground and removed the stumps. A 2025 customer said Jay explained the approach and individual tasks for a tree-removal job and introduced a contact for an additional specialist role. A 2025 customer who requested an estimate said Jay came the next day, then recommended a company that could offer a better rate for the work; that customer did not hire him.

Jay gets right to work. This job was particularly difficult as the cut logs had to be hauled up a hill. He had the right equipment to do this. I’ve already requested his service again for later on this year. I highly recommend him.

Highly recommended! Jay was prompt, timely, responsive, and very specific about his work-approach and individual tasks. He explained what / how / why / when, which was essential to our tree removal job. Jay also introduced a trusted Contact of his, to perform an additional, specialist role in the job. Thank you, Jay.

I had a great experience with Just Jay'N Tree Service. Jay was quick to respond to my email asking for an estimate and came out the very next day. What stood out most was his honesty — instead of trying to sell me on something that wasn’t in my best interest, he recommended another company that could offer me a better rate for the specific work I needed. It’s rare to come across someone so upfront and genuine. Even though I didn’t end up using his service this time, I really appreciate his professionalism and integrity. I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to him again in the future or recommend him to others!

During Winter of 2023, a large pine tree feel into my back yard and nearly hit my house. It was too large for me to handle myself. In comes Just Jay 'N Tree Service. We made an appointment, which he arrived early on, which was appreciated, looked over the job, etc. When I asked for his availability to cut it into manageable pieces, he turned to his truck, got his mighty chainsaw and went to work. I figured it would take an hour, but it only took Jay 30 minutes. Jay is a great guy, honest, and reliable. Oh...he also enjoys telling you about the other trees, plants, vines, etc that are growing in his yard. He knows his subject matter and is very confident about his words. I will 100% use Jay again! Thanks Jay!!
