Juan collects the table from your door, takes it to his shop, and brings it back a few days later. A Stickley cherry coffee table and end table went out on a Friday in February 2025 and were home on the Monday. A maple dining table was disassembled at the house in August 2025 and returned resurfaced three days after that. Customers keep mentioning that the pickup and delivery are part of the deal, often at no charge — which is how someone with no truck gets a heavy dining table refinished at all. One 2024 customer's dining table carried a burn mark from a tipped candle; a July 2026 customer's six dining chairs had been used as scratching posts by the family cat. Furniture is not all of it. A January 2026 customer had old pine floors refinished. In 2023 another had hardwood floors done, including an area with staining and an odor, and was updated each day while the work ran. Kitchen cabinets come in too: a July 2025 customer had two cabinet doors with worn-off finish restored to match the rest of the kitchen, and a 2024 homeowner had the brown cabinets she disliked turned into something she wanted to look at. In a June 2024 thread on Salem's subreddit, a commenter described having a staircase rebuilt from Pergo to real wood and a mix of engineered and prefinished hardwood refinished. Two customers put numbers on the price. In February 2025 one said the quote was half what a competitor had asked. In March 2025 another carried old kitchen drawers back across the state line from a New Hampshire shop that had disappointed her, and had them reconstructed in less time and for less money. If you have something worth saving — a table, a desk, a set of chairs, a floor that has lost its finish — this is a small shop that will come and get it. Send photos up front to settle the price, and plan for the piece to be away anywhere from a few days to about three weeks depending on the work.
