K. Powers & Company

I’ve known Kathleen, from K.Powers & Company in Needham, MA, for Many years. Over the years while I lived in the Boston area, I appreciated all interactions I experienced with her company — from attending design events at her showroom to having my own line of hand knotted Tibetan rugs “Silk Road Weaves” hosted there.  I did discontinue this line a few years ago — but as a lover of this type of work, I naturally turned to Kathleen to help me find the best unique hand knotted rugs for a client here in California, where I’ve been living since 2016. My client was thrilled to know that my long-standing relationship with K.Powers could provide a valuable creative and trustworthy resource for her, even “long distance.” This has worked out very well. Kathleen’s expertise, flexibility in working with me and my client, and her depth of resources were invaluable in making this entire experience proceed very smoothly.  I am delighted to share my enthusiasm about this experience with you.

Lovely choice of carpets. The designers really helped me find the perfect stair runner and installed as well. I was delighted that they sold the wallpaper I’ve been searching for! I’m absolutely going back to find a unique area rug.

I am an interior decorator and my partner and I have worked with K. Powers and Co. for many years. The selection of carpets is vast and varied and the people who work there are knowledgeable, low pressure and happy to work at all price points. I recently completed a commercial installation of carpeting at a condo in Cape Cod and everyone is thrilled with the results and we stayed within their budget. For another client we did a custom handmade rug for a living room that needed an unusual size and that came out beautiful as well and only took a few months. Always fun to stop by K Powers to see what new products they have!

Best instillations and quality.

I have worked with K. Powers for years & they have provided Capello Design with great service and a beautiful selection of carpets for our clients to enjoy. Their staff is friendly, professional and very organized which make doing business with them a true pleasure.
