Kare's Painting

Kare's Painting is run by Cynthia Shepherd (the state's business-diversity certification spells it Cynthia Shepard) out of Roslindale, offering interior painting, staining, paint removal and wall preparation, murals and faux painting. The company holds an active Massachusetts Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certification, and the Better Business Bureau gives it an A+ grade, though it says the business is not BBB-accredited. Its five written reviews, posted on Angi between August and October 2018 and mirrored on HomeAdvisor as the same underlying listing, describe a painter who scheduled jobs quickly and worked with care around a homeowner's timeline. One reviewer, writing in 2018, said she had 'been my painter for many years' and called her skilled and honest; another, also from 2018, called her prepared and knowledgeable in her craft. On how long the business has operated, its directory profiles disagree: the BBB lists it starting in 1993 with 33 years in business; the Angi/HomeAdvisor listing instead highlights '28 years of experience.' This is a fit for interior painting, staining or faux-finish work in the Roslindale area. Ask for recent references and current proof of insurance before booking.
