Kastelein General Contracting

We had a brand new large deck put in my Eric and his crew. Everyone who works at Kastelein was extremely friendly and pleasant to have around. We love our new deck!!

Eric, Jared, and Jimmy were great. They renovated my front porch replacing an old triptych of windows with beautiful French doors, redoing the walls, and, finally floating a vinyl floor. Eric managed the project beautifully being communicative at all times and putting up with my silly questions. Jared and Jimmy were delightful house "guests" as they worked to renovate my front porch for ~2 weeks. In particular, Jared was patient answering all my questions. Both were very thoughtful and professional during the entire process. I can't recommend them enough and I look forward to hiring them again in the future.

We were very nervous about renovating our dated kitchen -- it needed to be gutted and reconfigured to relocate a washer/dryer closet, horrible cracked tiles, crowded entryway... we had put it off as long as we could. Eric and his team were professional, approachable, and a pleasure to have around. He didn't flinch when we made last minute changes, and he even made some suggestions about cabinet choice and placement that made the whole kitchen design come together beautifully. When things didn't go exactly right, he stayed calm and dealt with the problem in a professional manner. No drama! We get compliments every time someone comes over, and we couldn't be happier with his work. We give him our highest recommendation!

Our bathroom needed a complete gut renovation due to many years of poor construction and leaks. As we only have one bathroom, the job needed to be done quickly and efficiently. Eric and his crew did a great job giving us what we wanted. I am an architect and am hard to please, so I appreciated that there was open communication about any problems or surprises - and there are bound to be a few in a 100 year old house! We have been using the bathroom for almost a year now and are constantly receiving positive comments. We are very pleased.
