Kevin Aulenbach Electrician is a Franklin, Massachusetts electrician handling both residential and commercial jobs — panel upgrades, wiring, outdoor lighting, and general electrical repairs — and the numbers back up the pitch: a perfect 5.0 average across all eight reviews on Angi and HomeAdvisor, without a single rating below five stars. What stands out in the reviews is the responsiveness and the problem-solving. One homeowner needed a new water heater wired in and said Kevin showed up the next day, earlier than scheduled, working alongside their plumber to get it done — they called him their electrician for all future projects afterward. Another described a portable generator that wouldn't start reliably right before a storm; Kevin disassembled and reassembled the carburetor and had it running again with hours to spare. The shorter reviews echo the same themes — on time, on budget, professional, neat. Kevin holds a Massachusetts electrician license (self-reported as #40702 E on his own site) and lists trade license #214531 (expiring January 2027) on both directory profiles — those numbers haven't been checked against the state registry. Both HomeAdvisor and Angi profiles also carry an odd inconsistency worth knowing about: the About text claims 25+ years of experience, but a separate business-highlight badge on the same pages says 10 years — it's unclear which figure is accurate, so it's worth asking directly. Both directory profiles confirm free estimates and no emergency or after-hours service, so plan around normal business hours (Monday–Saturday, 7 AM–5 PM) rather than counting on a same-night fix. This is a solid call for straightforward residential and light commercial electrical work — wiring, panel upgrades, outdoor lighting, generator troubleshooting — from an electrician with a clean review record so far, though it's worth confirming his actual years of experience directly before booking.

Job was completed very professionally
Generator would not start and if it did start, it would not run for long. Disassembled the carburetor, examined it and reassembled it. Engine starts and runs. All in his magic touch I guess. But I am very glad I now have a generator that runs since a storm is due to arrive within hours.

Highly recommend Kevin and his son. Excellent work and great professionalism. Needed to have a new water heater wired in and Kevin was at my home the next day earlier than scheduled which was perfect as he was able to work along side our plumber. Kevin is now my electrician for all future projects. Thank you so much.
