Kitchen Works Installation

Kitchen Works Installation has been assembling IKEA kitchens and closets since the Stoughton store opened in 2005, by its own account, and cabinets are the centre of what the Brookline firm does: custom boxes, off-the-shelf lines of any make, vanities and pantries, plus the countertops and flooring that go in around them. A 2015 Porch review came from a family that used them for three renovations in a 200-year-old house over two years — the kitchen first, then taking down the wall between the kitchen and the family room, with built-in bookcases made for the opened-up space. On Porch the company sits at 3.28 out of 5 across 11 ratings, and Porch lists 26 years in business. The menu there stretches from installing a set of cabinets to full-service residential and commercial general contracting, which are very different jobs — so ask which one they are quoting you for. Four project galleries on its Houzz page come from Newton, Boston and Milton. For a cabinet or IKEA kitchen installation around Brookline, this is the work the shop is built around. For a gut kitchen or bath, ask who runs the job day to day, ask to see one of those Newton or Boston projects in person, and get the schedule and change-order terms in writing before the first delivery.
