KMC Properties just completed a fabulous bedroom and bathroom renovation for me. Karen is very professional and so experienced in what she does. Each and every one of her subcontractors were awesome and I can’t wait to use her for the next project.

We hired Karen for the addition on our house and we were very pleased with the work she did. Some of the qualities I appreciated about Karen’s work were: Transparency - Karen provided us a line item budget and gave us a clear idea of what everything would cost. She was very clear about what items in the budget were more likely to change (higher or lower) once we started work. In the end, Karen was able to hit the budget and come in below the number we had started with. Design - Karen has a great eye for design and we relied on her to help make decisions about everything from the flow of rooms to the fixtures we bought. She helped us to design a project that we were thrilled with at the end. Value - Karen kept in mind the long term value of the project and always had an eye on what we could do that would maximize the re-sell value of the project. Persistence - Karen was on top of the project at all times and drove it to its completion. The project was delivered on time because Karen managed her team so well. I would highly recommend Karen to anyone looking to build an addition or do a major remodel. She’s excellent.

I have worked with Karen of KMC Properties on multiple projects as both a client and in conjunction with her as a decorator/designer. As a client, I enlisted Karen as my contractor for a major kitchen and master bath overhaul and later for the new build of an outdoor roofed deck and party space. As a professional in the field, I have recommended her for both new builds and substantial renovations and have worked/am working with her on both types of projects. Firstly, Karen is highly professional and extremely knowledgeable in the field. She takes a very practical approach to solving anything that comes up and is very good at sticking to budgets and meeting client expectations. Words can not fully describe the talent and work ethic that Karen possesses. Her crew is the best. My renovation project was for my first home purchase and my first ever construction project. You can imagine the nervousness one has when choosing a partner. I knew from hello that Karen was to be my partner on journey to my happy home! Karen covers all the bases including decor! What else can you want but someone who gives you ideas of how to beautify what she has already beyond words beautified for you. I have already used Karen twice and will partner with her again for stage 3 of my home renovation.
