Kme Enterprises

Kme Enterprises is a Methuen general contractor and remodeler — kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions and whole-home projects, run by owner Robert Armstrong. The written record here is thin and dated: one review, from 2017, calls the work 'meticulous and very trustworthy' and says the job went just as planned, and BuildZoom's permit history shows a matching-era Methuen project, a $127,800 garage-demolition, kitchen-extension and master-suite addition from 2016. BuildZoom's own page disagrees with itself on this contractor's Massachusetts licence, #146855 — its summary calls it a General Contractor licence that expired in 2018, while its licence panel calls the same number a Home Improvement Contractor licence marked Inactive and 'at one point cancelled.' Either way, no active licence is currently on file. General contracting isn't exempt from Massachusetts HIC registration, so that's worth confirming directly, in writing, before signing anything — along with current insurance and a look at more recent work.
