Knightshade Painting holds an active home improvement contractor registration on the state registry, under the holder name Knightshade Painting LLC. On its website the company says it specializes in interior and exterior painting, and it says it has been in business for five years.
A recent customer with an 1860s house says Emma helped them pick colors after some siding was replaced, and her team then scraped the whole exterior and painted it. Emma and her crew also transformed the outside of an 1850s house for a recent customer. For another recent customer, Emma and her staff took down wallpaper and repainted a living room and dining room, and that customer says the timeline was exactly as quoted.
In a 2025 review, a customer said Emma and her crew repainted much of the interior of their home as well as some exterior trim for a new addition. That 2025 customer said the job started and finished on time and called her prices fair. In a 2024 review, a customer said Emma and her crew had painted their historic home, a job that included multiple different paints, and that Emma had color recommendations.

Our house is from the 1860's and the exterior was in need of major tlc. After getting some siding replaced we were connected with Emma and she patiently held our hands through the scary process of picking what color our house would be for the foreseeable future. As soon as we had colors picked, her amazing team did a super thorough job scraping the whole exterior, and then painted it with great care and attention to detail. Our neighbors were very impressed and several got estimates from her. The team was not only skilled, but clearly happy doing what they were doing and working together. They were friendly, communicative, and cohesive. It made this major piece of house repair actually pleasant which is saying a lot.
Emma and her crew transformed the outside of our 1850s house. I am delighted with the results. The road to get there was so easy. Working with Emma and her crew from Knightshade made it so easy. Communication was effective, respectful, and just uncomplicated. Her crew was reliable and talented, and just lovely people. Everything from beginning to end was smooth, efficient, and relaxed. I highly recommend them!
Emma and her staff recently took down wallpaper and repainted my living room and dining room. Emma was very helpful in deciding on colors and I am very happy with the outcome. Her staff is very professional and the time line was exactly as I was quoted. I highly recommend Knightshade Painting and plan to use them again this summer.
Emma and her crew did an amazing job for us which included repainting much of the interior of our home as well as some exterior trim for a new addition. Emma was not only thoroughly professional, she also has a great eye for color and gave us great advice. The job started and finished on time and the quality of the work was outstanding. Her prices were fair. I would use her again in a heartbeat and recommend her without reservation.
We had our historic home painted last year by Emma and her wonderful crew. Every single person worked diligently and communicated effectively. The crew genuinely enjoyed eachother and I know from experience that that kind of work ethic starts at the top (Emma!) The paint job included multiple different paints and Emma had great color recommendations. I HIGHLY recommend Emma and the whole crew for all your painting needs and especially if you have a historic home. Thank you all!
