Joseph and his team did a great job setting up my unit. He was very flexible and quick in finishing projects as needed. He guided me all with the steps like permits and everything. We really appreciate his work.

I hired KOD Restoration to re-install de-icing cables on my roof that I purchased last year. I also asked them to install kitchen cabinet knobs and drawer handles. They originally quoted me 3-4 hours for both projects, but the work actually took closer to 7 hours. They did not have experience with Easy Heat cables. Had I purchased a cable they were familiar with, it might not have taken so long. My house has a Gutter Helmet system which added some extra complication, but this should have been factored into the original estimate. The install of the kitchen cabinet knobs and drawer handles only took about 1 1/2 hours which seems reasonable. I raised my rating because the kitchen work came out better than I expected. I paid $1000 for both projects which I felt is too high even after they dropped 1 hour of time. I think $750 would have been more reasonable. I should have requested a fixed price rather than pay hourly which is a lesson I learned from this experience. I must say that Joseph is very responsive via email so I give him 5 stars for customer service. Just wish his hourly rates were more competitive with other handyman companies.
