Kreate Construction is a three-person shop on Howe Street in Methuen, run by Kelly Gannon, and the first thing worth knowing about it is the calendar. Every customer account on its public profiles was written between 2017 and 2019. Nothing newer has been posted anywhere. What people hired her for was whole-room work — kitchens, bathrooms, basements and additions, plus decks, porches, trim and window replacement. Houzz sits at 4.5 across eight ratings, most of them written out at length rather than left as one-liners. Angi carries a perfect score built on exactly one review. The Better Business Bureau, which lists the company as starting in January 2016 and incorporating that May, grades it A+ — though the same profile states plainly that Kreate is not BBB accredited. Those are two separate facts, and a homeowner should read them separately. The thing to weigh before calling is the dissenting account. Among those eight Houzz ratings sits a detailed one-star from 2019 describing a kitchen remodel left with framing out of plumb, a dipping ceiling, plumbing leaks and what the customer believed were electrical code violations. It is years old and it stands alone against seven positive accounts. It is also specific in a way generic praise never is, which is exactly why it deserves a direct question rather than a shrug. Two smaller notes. One of the five-star notices was posted by another company rather than a homeowner, so it reads as a trade referral. And the construction supervisor number CS-109477 appears on the Houzz listing as the company's own statement — Angi publishes no number at all and says outright that anything of the kind on its pages is self-reported. Kreate reads as a small, hands-on remodeling outfit with a real but dated history and no recent public trail in either direction. If the job is a full kitchen or bath, ask for work finished in the last two years and call those homeowners, ask directly about the 2019 complaint, and confirm the construction supervisor licence and home improvement contractor registration with the Commonwealth yourself before any money changes hands.

I have contracted with Kreate Construction, LLC. four times and each time she exceeded my expectations. The first project was a rebuild of my front porch. Kelly designed, built, and painted the porch, adding immeasurably to the look of my house. Later I contacted with Kelly to replace the concrete steps with new wood steps and railings. The completed project was great, and several neighbors commented about the job. Unfortunately, a car crashed into the steps, causing significant damage that required a partial rebuild. Without hesitation, I called Kelly, who restored the steps to perfect condition. I also contracted with Kelly to replace and paint the wood shingles on a large section of my house. Again, the work was done was done expertly by Kelly. Kelly's work has been of the highest quality, done on time and within the proposed budget. I recommended Kreate Construction to my sister-in-law when she needed to repaint her apartment. I wouldn't hesitate to call Kreate Construction again for any work I need around my house.

We would highly recommend Kreate Construction and Kelly! The care Kelly pours into each project is second to none. Her customers are always extremely well informed of each process and the work Kelly produces is exceptional. Highly recommend and a pleasure to work with.

Beware; Kelly Gannon aka Kreate Construction LLC is not who she claims to be. Ms Gannon was hired to complete our kitchen remodel; she failed miserably. In reality, Ms Gannon is a one-person operation, utterly incapable of providing the results she promises. Significant issues with all of Ms Gannon's work have arisen including issues with framing that is out of plumb & level, a new ceiling that dips & slopes, possible electrical code violations, and plumbing leaks. Newly-installed tile had to be smashed to correct a line to the pot filler; the plumber failed to install an O ring at the main connection. Two full walls of subway tile may need to be removed due to building code violations. A new window is out of level and does not function properly. Here are some photos of the damage Ms Gannon has caused. Each of the semi-custom cabinets are completely destroyed due to her gross negligence. Think carefully before considering Ms Gannon aka Kreate Construction LLC.

We hired Kreate Construction LLC to construct an extension to our outside elevated deck to accommodate our heavy hot tub/spa. Simply put, Kelly Gannon and her crew did an outstanding job and the extension she constructed seamlessly blends into the existing deck. She is a total professional, easy to work with, efficient and hard working. Not only was the carpentry work first rate but the plumber and electrician she brought in did top rate work as well. Kelly is punctual, kept within the budget that was agreed upon and the work was completed on schedule. Kelly does such great work that we are already thinking of other projects for which we need her talents. If you are fortunate enough to have her work on your project you will be delighted with the results.

Bathroom Remodel. Yes, I recommend this pro. $18,000. Work was started when promised and was completed as agreed. They worked extra hours to ensure we had a working shower in the shortest amount of time. Much appreciated.
