Kuik Electric, Inc. is an electrical contractor in Uxbridge. Its website says it is family-owned and operated, has been in electrical contracting since 1987, and serves residential, commercial and retail clients in Eastern and Central Massachusetts. The towns it lists are Uxbridge, Northbridge, Milford, Medway, Grafton, Millbury, Douglas and Sutton, and the site says it offers 24/7 emergency service. A recent Google review comes from a customer who booked a quote to install a ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 EV charger. She says the technician parked with his truck 3–4 feet on the grass, argued with her twice when she asked him to move it, and that she told him to forget the quote and leave. In a 2026 Google review, a customer said power was cut four different times while they were actively working, with zero communication.
I would strongly caution women—and anyone who expects basic professionalism and respect—from hiring this electrician. I scheduled an appointment for a quote to install a ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 EV charger. When the technician arrived, he parked two doors down from my condo with his truck 3–4 feet on the grass. I politely asked him to move it. Instead of simply respecting the request, he argued with me twice about why he wanted to be “out of the way.” When I told him I would wait while he moved his truck off the grass, his attitude immediately changed. What should have been a simple service call turned into an unnecessary confrontation. I ultimately told him to forget the quote and leave. He then attempted to be somewhat apologetic, and I tried to diffuse the situation with a little humor. Rather than letting it go, he became dismissive and said he was “all set” and left. Parking on someone else's property and then arguing with the property owner when asked to move is not professional behavior. Neither is becoming confrontational when a customer reasonably asks that her property be respected. A good contractor should understand that the customer is hiring them—and that courtesy, professionalism, and respect are part of the job. This interaction gave me the distinct impression that this technician was not accustomed to being challenged by a woman who expected him to respect her property and her boundaries. There are plenty of electricians who can install an EV charger. I will be choosing one who understands that professionalism starts before the work even begins.
Power was cut four different times while I was actively working, with zero communication. No warning, no updates, nothing. Electricity isn’t optional. Many of us rely on it to earn a living. The lack of communication shows a real disregard for customers' time and livelihoods.
