Labbe & Sons Home Improvement is a family-owned residential contractor based in Middleborough, Massachusetts, run by Jason Labbe and his son Jason Labbe Jr. The company reports about 18 years in business and says it is licensed and insured to work in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, taking on window, door, exterior trim, deck, and roofing jobs for homeowners across the region. The four reviews on file, spanning BuildZoom and Thumbtack from 2022 through 2024, are uniformly five-star and specific. Homeowners describe having windows re-framed, roof shingles replaced, a damaged exterior door swapped for a new sliding door, and decks repaired, with two reviewers going on to rehire the crew for a second project after the first one went well. Reviewers consistently mention prompt arrivals, careful cleanup, and detail-oriented craftsmanship. Before booking, it is worth asking directly about licensing: the company's Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor registration, #206613, is registry-verified expired, which sits alongside the company's own claim of being licensed and insured in three states. With only four reviews on record, homeowners should also ask for a few recent local references to round out the picture. Labbe & Sons looks like a solid pick for exterior carpentry work — windows, doors, trim, decks, and small roofing jobs — for homeowners who confirm current licensing and get a couple of references before signing on.
