Forty-four ratings on Google, a flat 5.0, and one name that keeps appearing in them: Amanda Lane. This Braintree office of Lamacchia Realty sits on Forbes Road, and the people who write about it write about her — mostly first-time buyers who walked in nervous and walked out with keys. Its Massachusetts real estate broker license is active on the state registry. The office is also listed as a member of the Braintree Chamber of Commerce. The recent accounts are consistent about what the work looks like day to day. A buyer in May described having every step of the purchase explained before it happened, along with lender and attorney recommendations that pulled the closing together. Another, writing at the end of June, credited market knowledge and working relationships that kept the deal moving. The word that recurs across the spring reviews is not speed or price — it is patience: no question treated as too small, searches and open houses repeated until something fit. The more telling stories are the ones where a deal went sideways. One couple selling their home and buying another had their buyer laid off days before closing; they describe the agent stepping in immediately and lining up a replacement buyer rather than letting the sale collapse. That kind of salvage job, more than any adjective, is what the recent reviews are actually about. Two things are worth knowing before you call. First, the praise here is personal, not institutional — it attaches to one agent, so if you reach the Braintree office, ask who will actually represent you and whether it is the agent whose record you read. Second, the brokerage's wider visibility comes from transaction roundups: posts in r/tradedboston have reported multifamily deals closed by several of its agents around Greater Boston. Those are deal announcements, not accounts from clients, and they say nothing about how any particular agent handles a purchase. The review history runs from 2022 to 2026 with no negative comments in the last six months, which makes this a reasonable call for a first-time buyer who wants someone to explain the process and stay reachable through it, and for a seller who needs a deal held together when financing wobbles. Confirm the agent assignment up front, and confirm in writing which services and referrals are included before you sign a representation agreement.

I don’t typically write reviews, but I don’t typically buy houses often either. I am so grateful to have had Amanda as my real estate agent. She possesses deep market knowledge, has amazing business relationships (that help make deals move flawlessly), and was a trusted advisor throughout the entire process. If you’re looking for a real estate agent, I would highly recommend reaching out to her.

Oh God, where do I even start?
As if just the thought of buying a house isn’t scary enough, the real thing is even more intimidating.
We couldn’t have done this without Amanda.
From the day we met until the day she handed us the keys to our home, her dedication, patience and tenacity were unmatched. No question was too silly; no number of searches or open-houses was too tiring.
And once we found the right place, she worked diligently to make it happen. She mapped out all the steps and got answers to the questions we didn’t even know needed to be asked.
It’s easy to get lost and overwhelmed in the process, but we knew she was the right person to take care of us.
This is so much more than just getting the job done. She pours her heart in what she does, and we truly couldn’t be more grateful and proud of having her leading the way.

Working with Amanda as a first time home buyer was such an amazing experience. She is so knowledgeable and walked me through and explained every step of the home buying process. She was so dedicated to finding me the perfect home and I couldn’t be more thankful. I highly recommend putting your trust in Amanda to have your best interest in mind and guide you through this process. She was there for me every step of the way from tours to closing, and recommended great lenders and attorneys to pull everything together!

I simply cannot explain just how amazing Amanda is. I bought my first home this spring and having her in my corner was absolutely phenomenal. Every jump, loop and hurdle was addressed immediately and always looking out in my best interest. Answering any and all questions that I had from the very start of the process to the very end. I never once felt like I wasn't a priority to her. No matter the time of day or night she was right there to assist with anything and everything. The most knowledgeable realtor I have ever met in my life. I cannot recommend Amanda to anyone enough. I look forward to many more transactions in the future. If you want a realtor who cares, is responsive and is incredibly knowledgeable at what she does. This is her!
