Laperle Painting Company is a Medfield outfit that's less a painting crew and more a full exterior rebuild-and-repaint operation: reviewer after reviewer describes rotted siding, corner boards, water tables and window trim torn out and replaced before a single coat goes on. The company says it was founded in 1992 by Daniel Laperle and has run for over 25 years across the Metro-West and greater Boston area, employing only its own crew rather than subcontractors. The volume backs that up — 43 Google reviews running from 2021 to 2026, every one five stars. In a 2022 review, a homeowner described the full sequence: powerwashing and mildew removal, a sanding crew stripping old paint down to bare wood, damaged trim and clapboards replaced, windows re-glazed, then the final coats. That same pattern — wood rot repair ahead of the paint job — repeats across years of reviews on houses of very different ages and sizes. Estimators Fabio and project managers Jouberth and Joe come up by name repeatedly for walking customers through detailed, photo-backed quotes and staying responsive once work is underway, and several reviewers specifically note crews that clean up daily and treat a job site carefully. The record has no gap to flag — reviews run continuously from 2021 through mid-2026, including five in the last six months and none negative. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, and the Better Business Bureau lists an A+ grade, though the company isn't BBB accredited and the BBB page itself shows no complaints or customer reviews on file. What's worth knowing before calling: this is fundamentally an exterior painting-and-carpentry shop for houses with real wood damage — kitchens, basements and interior rooms show up in only a handful of the 43 reviews. If a project is a straightforward interior repaint with no repair work involved, it's worth asking how that scopes against their usual rotted-wood-and-siding jobs. Otherwise, for a house that needs both structural wood repair and a finished paint job, the review history here is about as deep and consistent as it gets.
We had Laperle paint our home exterior and their attention to detail was outstanding! Our project required a lot of carpentry to replace rotted shingles or trim and everything was included in the work package. End to end the entire process was easy and we are thrilled with the results!
Laperle Painting did a great job on my home exterior painting project. I had a lot of rotted wood and the house was overdue for painting. Laperle came in quickly once the winter ended, powerwashed, repaired siding, primed and painted. Their work was excellent.
Last summer Laperle painted and repaired many sections of our house where the wood had rotted. Their work is excellent and they are a first rate group to work with. I highly recommend them!
We had an excellent experience working with Dan, Fabio and Claudinei. After an ice dam caused interior damage, we were left with 40 sq.ft. of freshly-dried studs that needed new drywall and painting. Fabio came out and delivered a competitive quote very quickly. Once we accepted the estimate, the work was scheduled and completed within two weeks. Claudinei did a wonderful job with the drywall, painting, and reattaching the window trim. Dan and Fabio were incredibly responsive to our questions and concerns along the way. We highly recommend Laperle Painting and would trust them again with our home if any work comes up in the future.
Laperle Painting did installation of wainscoting and picture frame molding in our house, and repainting of two rooms and built ins. We are so impressed with their work and really appreciate the attention to detail. The crew was clean and thorough, and we are very happy with the result. We would use them again for future carpentry/painting projects.
