Ask what LCG Boston actually sells and the answer, review after review, isn't a trade — it's the coordination. Homeowners describe William's Woburn crew pulling the permits, lining up architecture and surveying for a standalone garage, carrying a job through to final inspection, and sweeping up at the end. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 206478, is active and held in the company's own name. The volume backs the story: 4.8 across 32 Google ratings, 4.7 from 12 on Houzz, and 55 written accounts spread across eight platforms since 2021. The projects run large. In a March 2025 account a homeowner described a $300,000 near-gut remodel — all new plumbing, electrical and HVAC, two bathrooms added, a structural wall removed, the kitchen relocated — and credited the project manager and lead carpenters for holding it together. A 2025 reviewer with a 1932 house had them do three separate bathroom projects, two full and one half bath. Another had an ADU built and kept sending friends. In April this year someone called them for one section of gutters and got the same treatment: on time for the estimate, on time for the install, debris hauled away. One account cuts the other way, and it deserves a full read before signing. Writing on Houzz in May 2025, a homeowner said a basement renovation contracted in spring 2023 for a November 2023 finish had produced only a cement floor and three sump pumps by March 2024; that the permit drawings filed with the city were hand-sketched with rooms in the wrong locations; that one sump pump's power cord was cemented in and had to be cut and rewired; that an oven ended up on the wrong amp; and that requested receipts didn't reconcile. They terminated the contract and took it to the BBB. In a separate 2023 review a customer who was otherwise pleased — properly permitted structural repairs, floor joists replaced, work other contractors have since complimented — noted that some subcontractors took on structural work beyond what they were familiar with. One more thing to weigh: two of the entries praising this company aren't from homeowners at all. One is an insulation subcontractor who works on their jobs, another a business that refers them to its own clients. They're the right call for the multi-trade job where somebody has to own the permits, the subs and the schedule. Ask to see the stamped drawings that will actually be filed with your town, agree in writing how receipts and change orders get documented, and confirm registration 206478 with the state before you sign.

I had to have a section of gutters replaced. I was extremely satisfied with the service from LCG Boston. William arrived on time for the estimate and the installation. The job was done perfectly and all trash was removed from my property. William was courteous and professional, and I would not hesitate to use this company again.
