LCG Boston has taken on the big jobs: gut remodels, additions, an ADU, a standalone garage. The Woburn company says it is family-owned and was founded and is led by William do Carmo, and William is the name customers keep writing down. It holds a 4.8 from 32 ratings on Google. A March 2025 BuildZoom review describes a $300,000, multi-month, nearly full gut remodel with all new plumbing, electrical and HVAC, two added bathrooms, a structural wall removed and the kitchen relocated. In a May 2025 Google review, a customer said William's team built their ADU and handled several design changes along the way. Another May 2025 reviewer described three bathroom projects in a 1932 house, with layouts reconfigured. An October 2024 Houzz review credits William with permitting, design and construction of a standalone garage. Several July 2025 reviewers wrote about additions, including a Winchester home addition that came in on budget and a kitchen-and-mudroom addition. Some jobs hit trouble. A 1-star Houzz review from May 2025 said a basement renovation hired in spring 2023 was due by November 2023, was extended six months, and by March 2024 had only cement flooring and some plumbing prep done; the customer also wrote that the permit drawings submitted to the city were hand-sketched, with rooms drawn in the wrong locations, and that they terminated the contract. In a September 2023 Google review, a homeowner gave 4 stars for structural repairs to an old house, saying some subcontractors took on structural work they were less familiar with, while William readily stopped work and owned fixing the mistakes. “ Hi all, I’ve been gathering a bunch of estimates to do a full remodel of a 8 x 9 fill bath. To say the quotes range a ton would be an understatement! I have a a couple where they were referred from people I know that have had work done and others were more generic off of a local fb group. Does anyone have any experience with the following contractors, good, bad otherwise? Boston Best Construction, Lords construction group (LCG), Or Bozettis’s design group? Thanks a million! ”
I had to have a section of gutters replaced. I was extremely satisfied with the service from LCG Boston. William arrived on time for the estimate and the installation. The job was done perfectly and all trash was removed from my property. William was courteous and professional, and I would not hesitate to use this company again.
