Leafy Tree Care

"I drop a lot of my own trees, but when it comes to those 'iffy' trees, he's my first call." That August 2026 Google review sums up who hires Leafy Tree Care: people with a dead ash leaning at a garage, pines crowding a house, a tree over the power line. Leaf runs the family-owned company out of Stoddard, New Hampshire, and this year's reviewers describe him as the climber who shows up when he says he will and is still working at the end of the day. The jobs are removals and trimming, often on dead ash. In April, one homeowner had a dead 70-foot ash that threatened a new garage taken down by the least expensive of their bids, with the smallest footprint on the property, in and out in a day with the area cleaned. A June reviewer called the technical climbing work excellent at fair prices, and a March customer said he has removed a number of their trees over the 2020s and is "an artist" to watch. Late 2025 accounts fill in the range: a cluster of tall pines rigged and pulled down from around a garage, trees trimmed around a house with a thorough cleanup, and a homeowner with a lot of dying ash who said he returns calls promptly, keeps appointments, and consults on which trees are the safety priorities. Reviews from 2021 describe the same work: two large pines down and the yard left spotless, a tree removed from beside a power line, a dead tree taken down close to a house. Every rating is five stars: Angi and HomeAdvisor share one listing at 5.0 from 18, and Google shows 5.0 from 6. Pricing comes up repeatedly as reasonable or the lowest bid. The one reservation is from a 2021 reviewer who rated the work very good but said the crew did not always follow through on the original plan or on afterthoughts. The right call in the Monadnock region for dead or dangerous trees near structures, cleanup included. Agree the plan and any extras in writing before the day, given that one 2021 note.
