LeBlanc Basement Waterproofing has built a large, consistent Boxborough-area following around one thing: fixing wet basements without oversell. Corey LeBlanc, a Massachusetts native with a background in construction and excavation, runs the family-owned company, and its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. Across 24 reviews from 2022 through 2026 spanning Google and Angi — every one of them five stars — the same story plays out again and again: water in the basement, a consultation with Corey, and a crew (often named — Rick, Mike, Zack, Paxton, Nate and Sean turn up repeatedly) that shows up on time and finishes clean. In a 2024 review, a homeowner described Corey laying out several options during the consultation without any pressure, even pointing out that a cheaper service from another company might be enough — they chose the full job anyway, digging to the foundation and adding a barrier and drain pipes. In another 2024 review of a bigger project, a homeowner in an 1800s colonial described the crew digging the basement floor down another foot, installing a perimeter drain, structural supports and a new concrete floor before waterproofing the walls, calling the before-and-after "night and day." The work itself is mostly French drains, sump pump systems, vapor barriers and perimeter drainage. In a 2024 review, one customer specifically praised the crew for protecting belongings with plastic barriers before cutting concrete, running a fan to clear dust, and vacuuming up daily. Several reviewers across 2024 and 2022 single out the office side too, mentioning a friendly scheduler named Crystal and quick response times when they were shopping quotes. Two claims about how long the company has been around don't quite line up: its own site says Corey started the business in 2014 while also marketing "20+ years of experience" elsewhere on the site, and its Angi profile separately lists 19 years of experience — worth a clarifying question if longevity matters to you, though it doesn't change the strength of the recent work. There's nothing negative on file across either platform, and the volume and consistency of detailed, specific praise — clean job sites, honest pricing conversations, and named crews who show up when promised — makes LeBlanc a strong option for a basement waterproofing project in the area.
I can’t say enough about Leblanc Basement Waterproofing! They do great work. Corey was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. And I absolutely would call them again with a basement issue.
LeBlanc did an amazing job with our basement. In our 1800's colonial, the basement ceilings were so low that I couldn't stand up without hitting my head. Corey and his excellent crew dug the floor down another foot, installed a perimeter drain, structural supports, and new concrete floor—and then waterproofed the walls. The difference is night and day. The crew were highly skilled and the whole experience was very professional from day one. Highly recommend LeBlanc!
EVERYone at LeBlanc Basement Waterproofing is professional, educational, knowledgeable, friendly, respectful, neat and clean. The crew showed up exactly when they said they would and they kept me informed during the job. They answered my questions. Before they cut anything, they went through my cellar and put up plastic barriers to isolate the upstairs and to keep the dust off my belongings. They jackhammered and cut a lot of concrete and every day, they used a fan to evacuate dust and they swept up and vacuumed up before leaving. The install was exactly as advertised; nice and neat and clean and well done. If I had another cellar to waterproof, there is NO QUESTION that I would choose Corey and his crew again! If I could give them 20 stars and 50 thumbs up, I would! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LEBLANC BASEMENT WATERPROOFING FOR THEIR EXPERTISE, USE OF GREAT PRODUCTS AND FABULOUS INSTALL, PLUS THEY WERE VERY EASY TO WORK WITH.
Mike and Zack were amazing! They were professional, personable, courteous and worked so hard all day! They work extremely well together and politely declined breakfast and lunch- they came well prepared. They did first class work fixing my basement and I give my highest recommendation for LeBlanc Basement Waterproofing - you will be happy! The entire process was easy and Corey is great to work with. Very responsive and answers all questions. 10 star review
