Long Roofing LLC works out of Taunton, Massachusetts, doing roof replacement work — asphalt shingle, metal, and flat systems — per its BuildZoom and Best Pick Reports listings. Its review history is thin: two Angi reviews, one from January 2025 saying the crew arrived quickly and offered reasonable pricing and options, finishing a new roof with a 50-year warranty within a month, and one from December 2024 calling the price too high without elaborating. Its directory profiles are inconsistent on the company's name and location — BuildZoom names it Long Roofing of Massachusetts LLC in Taunton, a Best Pick Reports listing under the same brand names Long Home Products in Boston, and Angi lists it as Long Home in Canton with a Maryland trade license — worth clarifying which entity and location would actually be doing the work before booking. With only two reviews on file, ask directly about current pricing on an asphalt shingle, metal, or flat roofing job and confirm the licensing and service area for whichever branch or entity picks up the phone.
Long came out very quickly and offered reasonable pricing and options. Work were done as quickly and we were left with a new roof and 50-year warranty within a month.
Cost way too much
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Long Roofing LLC. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
A square is 100 sq ft of roof surface — bigger than the floor plan because of pitch and overhangs.
Estimated range
$9,000 – $18,600
