In order for us to get our 14 Year old out of his bedroom, we were in need of our basement to be remodeled. We interviewed several area contractors, all of which treated this project as a side job. Lorian Building Company however was much different. When first sitting down with Mark Barber,President of LBC, Mark was very informative on what it would take to complete the job as well as taking our vision to the next level. One item that sets this company above all the other contractors in the area is Mark's willingness to do what ever the Customer wants. As an example, in the bar area in the finished basement, we were looking to do a Reclaimed Wood accent wall. We searched the entire area for the reclaimed wood that would be just right. Mark knowing what we were looking for, went above and beyond. Mark Located the exact wood we were looking for,however the Wood was located in Lake George New York. Mark brought this to our attention on a Friday afternoon and told us the wood would be here Saturday Afternoon. Mark as I was later told, personally drove to Lake George the next day to hand select the reclaimed wood.......... Holy cow. Other contractors I've dealt with in the past would have never gone this extra mile. LBC is our contractor for any project going forward. WE highly recommend this contractor.
We hired Lorian to upgrade our kitchen and bathroom. Mark and his team did an excellent job. Whether it was coordinating with our cabinet maker or helping us choose flooring for a non-so-straight floor Mark was there to make sure things were done properly. The Lorian team took a thirty year old kitchen and turned it to a bright space where we love to cook. Mark's team also took care of things like old wiring and even an old hornet's nest. We would definitely recommend Lorian. We couldn't be happier with their work.
