Lyons Fuel is a family-owned Arlington heating-oil company that reports more than three decades in business, automatic delivery, oil-burner service, furnace maintenance and repair, and diesel and marine fuel across a broad Boston-area service region. BBB lists the company as Accredited with an A+ grade, while the available customer record is mixed: one 2025 review praises pricing and service, and two reviews report billing disputes after quoted or closed accounts. Confirm current pricing, delivery terms, and cancellation procedures before starting service.

I didn’t know I was being overcharged on fuel until I switched to Lyons fuel Inc. Other companies will lock you in with a set delivery price. Forcing you to overpay up to 40% More on heating oil/diesel. Lyons Fuel Inc values new customers and fight hard to keep you satisfied with prices and service for your home.
Terrible experience. Said one price on the phone and billed for another.
I told them I was moving houses throughout the months of November and December, and they charged my card despite me closing my account.
