M.Q Electric is an electrical business that says it serves homeowners and businesses within 30 miles of Marlborough, naming towns including Marlborough, Wayland, Worcester, Natick, Hudson, Sudbury and Waltham. It reports 18 years in business and says it offers free estimates and 24/7 emergency service. In a 2026 Google review, a customer says Marcus installed the lighting and did a lot of complicated rewiring when they converted their 2-unit house to a single family. Another 2026 review said Marcus installed their electrical panel, upgraded switches and helped run electrical wiring on the roof to prevent ice dams. A 2025 review said Marcus added a brand new electric system/panel to a dated home, bringing everything up to code, and installed recessed lights. In 2025, another customer wrote that he installed a few new outlets, isolated a basement lighting zone into two zones with new switching, and installed new and upgraded exterior spot lights for the back yard, with his wiring neatly run. In a 2024 review, a customer said the contractor renovating their kitchen brought Marcus in to manage the electrical work, and that they later hired him to update entertainment electrical and install light fixtures throughout the house. A 2024 review of bathroom and basement work said he made sure wires were well organized while minimizing impact to the studs, and charged fair rates. In 2022, a customer wrote that Marcus cabled their house for high speed internet and ran a new line for a replacement oven, then helped them work out a breaker problem with the city code inspector. A 2022 review said Marcus and his associate installed recessed lights and ceiling fans. In a 2021 review, a customer said that when they changed their mind about a lighting decision, he came right over to help adjust it.
