Renovating older homes is the stated specialty, with new builds and additions taken on alongside it. Spinucci owns and operates the company, and its site puts a Massachusetts construction supervisor licence at #046132 and a home improvement contractor registration at #104872. Both are the company's own numbers, not confirmed against the state registry. The written history is short and it is old. In a May 2021 Google review, a homeowner described Mario's crew putting in a new kitchen and called him a perfectionist — complete trust, nothing to complain about. Set against that, Google's average sits at 3.0 across two ratings, which means the second, wordless rating pulls hard in the other direction. One detailed rave and one silent low score is not enough to settle the question either way. Before booking, run those two licence numbers through the state registry yourself, and ask for two or three references from the past year — the most recent written account on file dates to 2021. The fit here is an older Nahant-area house that needs real renovation work rather than a quick fix. Just do the checking that a five-year-old written record leaves to you.
