MacLellan Oil describes itself on its Better Business Bureau page as a full-service, 24-hour retail heating oil company, with fuel delivery among its services. The company says it has been in business for 99 years, and its site names Andover, Billerica, Chelmsford, Lowell and North Reading among the towns it serves. A 2025 customer who had just bought a house wrote that they came home around 4 o'clock to no heat and a 55° house because the oil gauge was not working; after they called as brand-new customers, the company was at the house filling the tank by 4:25 on a Friday. A 2024 reviewer wrote that Wayne came to save the day and that their family had been customers for, they thought, 30+ years.
We just bought a house a few weeks ago and didn't realize our oil gauge was not working correctly until about 4 o'clock when we came home from work to no heat and a 55° house. We called Mac Lellan as brand new customers and they were at our house filling our tank by 4:25 on a Friday. It was so greatly appreciated!
Long overdue for me to sing my praises. Wayne came to save the day today, and my entire family have been customers for I think 30+ years. Thank you
