Cheryl Hajjar started out cleaning houses herself. Twenty years on, customers write about Maid Brite by the names of the people who show up — Sam and Aliyah, Susan and Sheila, Liz and Debbie, Firlandia and Sherri. A 2024 trade article described her beginning as a solo cleaner, and the company's site says she founded the business in North Andover in 2006 and pushed into southern New Hampshire and the Seacoast in 2018. There are two crews under the same name. One cleans: recurring visits, first-time deep cleans, move-in and move-out work, and pre-sale cleanings around the Merrimack Valley. A customer in June 2026 came home to immaculate bathrooms and kitchen from a crew that "showed up on time and worked quickly"; a homeowner writing in October 2025, nearly a year into monthly service, said nobody beats them on letting you know when they are coming. The other crew power washes, and it has its own following. Jason and Jacob turn up in review after review for decks, siding, fences, garage floors, walkways and a pool deck. In a July 2025 review, a customer noticed they kept the hose off her bushes. In July 2026 another wrote that Jason took the time to explain what to watch for as siding ages — and what not to do. Communication is the thread customers keep pulling on. They describe an easy quote, a text confirming the appointment, another when the crew is en route, and estimated arrival times that match the actual ones. One homeowner in 2025 wrote that the business relationship started well because a person answered the phone and answered the questions. Two things to pin down. A deep clean can be a bigger job than people expect: a customer preparing for an open house in March 2025 described four cleaners working five hours, and rated it four stars. And the power washing side is not uniformly five-star — a May 2026 exterior house wash drew three stars. Get the scope, the crew size and the price in writing before either job is booked.
