Pure and Clean Nontoxic House Cleaning is a North Andover cleaning company that says it has served the Merrimack Valley since 2012 — 14 years by its own account — using trained, screened employees rather than subcontracted crews and non-toxic supplies. Most of the reviews describe dealing directly with the owner, Jenny. The written record, 13 reviews from 2024 to 2026, is heavy on the personal: several reviewers describe cleanings tied to a health need — a neck surgery, a family with a medically complex nonverbal autistic child requiring safe cleaning products, another customer recovering from surgery who couldn't clean her own home. In each, reviewers describe Jenny responding quickly, sometimes same-day, and in one case offering two free hours of cleaning after learning about a customer's surgery. A 2025 review described an emergency clean scheduled before real-estate listing photos, arranged the next day after a prior housekeeper couldn't accommodate the request. Two 1-star reviews sit in that same 2025 window. One, from August 2025, offers no detail beyond calling the service unprofessional. The other, from April 2025, is more specific: a customer said the house was left with dirt still visible, had to be recleaned, and that the cleaning rags smelled like dog. For a household that wants a personal relationship with the cleaner and non-toxic products, the pattern here is mostly warm and specific — but the two negative reviews, both roughly a year old now, are worth weighing against the more recent praise before booking a first clean.
I couldn’t be happier with Pure and Clean! From start to finish, they were professional, thorough, and incredibly detail-oriented. Moving is already stressful, and walking into a spotless home made such a huge difference. They cleaned everything top to bottom—floors, baseboards, appliances, bathrooms—you name it. Even the little details didn’t go unnoticed, which I really appreciated. The place truly felt fresh, sanitized, and ready for my family to settle in. They were also right on time, easy to communicate with, and very respectful of the space. You can tell they take pride in their work. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality cleaning service, especially for a move-in. Absolutely worth it!
We recently hired them to do our house cleaning and couldn’t be happier with the results! For the very first clean, they did an incredibly thorough deep cleaning and made sure every corner of the house was taken care of. Our home was sparkling clean by the time they finished. Jenny is super nice and lovely to work with. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for a cleaning service that truly goes above and beyond.
Totally unprofessional! Be careful.

I contacted Jenny to deep clean a vacant apartment and she was very responsive to my inquiry and had a cleaning scheduled within a couple of days. Her team was incredible, the apartment is spotless and they even came back another day to finish because it turned out to be a bigger job than anticipated. I highly recommend Jenny and her team!
