Jenny's name turns up in almost every review of Pure and Clean, which tells you the shape of the business: a North Andover owner who walks the house, quotes it, and sends the same crew back. The most telling account came in March 2025, from a family with a medically complex, nonverbal autistic son. They wrote that they had searched specifically for a company using safe cleaners, and described the crew taking its time over their son's room, where even a minor cold can mean weeks in hospital. Non-toxic supplies are the company's whole premise, and that is the clearest sign the premise is real. Others came under deadline pressure. In July 2025 a customer had a vacant apartment deep cleaned and the team returned a second day when the job turned out bigger than quoted. In May 2025 another needed an emergency clean before listing photos, after their regular housekeeper of four years couldn't fit it in. In July 2025 a customer recovering from neck surgery wrote that the owner offered two hours of cleaning free. Pricing comes up repeatedly and always the same way — reasonable, quoted after a walk-through. The company says it has served the Merrimack Valley since 2012, and that its cleaners are screened, bonded, insured employees rather than unsupervised subcontractors. Its own coverage list runs from Amesbury, Newburyport and Georgetown down through Haverhill, Lawrence, Lowell and Billerica, and crosses the state line into Pelham, New Hampshire. Two customers left one star. In April 2025 one wrote that the clean was poor enough that they redid the whole house themselves, and that the rags smelled of dog. In August 2025 another wrote only "Totally unprofessional! Be careful." Both are over a year old and nothing similar has appeared since, but the first is specific enough to be worth raising: ask who will actually be in your home and whether it is the same team each visit. The customers who sound happiest are the long-standing ones who get that consistency. This is a good call for a household that needs non-toxic products for health reasons, and for a one-off deep clean against a deadline — a move, a listing, a surgery. Ask for the walk-through quote before booking, and ask to see the bonding and insurance, since those are the company's own claims rather than anything a registry confirms. Note too that most of what customers have written dates from 2025; only one comment has appeared in the past six months.
