A recent customer hired Maineline Carpentry & Handyman Services to build a full dormer above their garage, adding a couple of bedrooms. That customer said Paul gave a quick rough estimate early on, trued up the quote for the contract, brought siding samples several times to settle the color, and got the job done for the price he quoted. The same customer wrote that when he didn't have his crew, he put in 10-hour days by himself. On its website, the company describes itself as a home renovation contractor in Norridgewock, ME, and says it can create an open floor plan in a kitchen. A 2026 customer said Paul arrived within about fifteen minutes when their parents suddenly lost heat, diagnosed the problem and had the heat running again. A 2026 customer said Paul fixed a furnace that wouldn't stay on and stayed to make sure "everything was perfect." A 2025 customer thanked Paul and his crew for a new kitchen. A 2023 customer said Paul and his team finished a job despite many rain delays, working under tents in rain gear, and called his estimate spot-on. A 2023 customer wrote about a new play yard and said Paul accommodated a tight schedule.
We wanted to add a couple bedrooms above our garage. For that we needed a full dormer built. Paul was very good to work with, giving us a quick rough order of magnitude in early planning stages then trueing up the quote for the contract. He was honest and fair through it all. It can be a scary hiring contractors as many do not have many reviews. Paul understood our lack of experience with the process and was patient. Once we signed the contract he brought siding samples multiple times to ensure we were happy with the color. Paul and his crew work incredibly efficiently. Arrived early every morning and worked right through till quitting time late evening. He got the job done quickly efficiently and for the price he quoted. He went above and beyond to ensure things were done properly. Even when he didn’t have his crew he put it 10 hour days by himself. We are very thankful for him and his work and he will be our first call on the next project! Hire Maineline Carpentry and you won’t regret it!
Paul from Maine Line Carpentry provided outstanding service during an emergency at my parents’ home in Maine. My father has health issues and they suddenly lost heat, so time was critical. Paul arrived within about fifteen minutes, quickly diagnosed the problem, and had the heat running again in short order. He was friendly, courteous, and clearly hardworking throughout the visit. I’m located in New Hampshire and felt reassured knowing someone this reliable could step in when I wasn’t sure what else to do. I highly recommend Paul and Maine Line Carpentry for prompt, professional, and dependable service.
We woke up to a freezing house when the furnace wouldn't stay on. Paul was here faster than we could believe! And fixed our furnace in no time. Also, stayed to make sure everything was perfect. They were professional and pleasant and we will never lose their number. Thanks Guys!!!
