Uneven surfaces — an October 2020 reviewer said Mat and his dad overcame walls where no dimension was plumb
A March 2021 Angi reviewer who needed a stall shower demolished and rebuilt, a leak in a tub/shower wall dealt with and a master shower regrouted wrote that Mat of Marble Effects Tile explained the options with their plusses and minuses, worked with his father Hiram carefully and neatly, and charged at the end exactly the price quoted at the beginning. The tile and stone installer's site cites 37 years in business, and its reviews describe shower and tub re-tiling, basement and bathroom floors, kitchen backsplashes, a marble shower seat and a slate patio regrout.

Here’s a strong, professional review you can use: ⸻ I had an outstanding experience with Marble Effects Tile from start to finish. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail they bring to their work is truly impressive. Every cut, every line, and every finish was done with precision and care. You can tell they take real pride in what they do. Matt was especially great to work with. He was professional, responsive, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered beyond expectations. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to both quality and customer satisfaction. If you’re looking for a team that doesn’t cut corners and delivers top-tier results, I highly recommend Marble Effects Tile. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
Matt was absolutely great. He was very thorough in his work and we are so glad to have our cracking tile floor replaced properly. His work was great and his communication with us throughout the project was good as well. We will be happy to have him back for any tile job we have in the future.
Matt was friendly, respectful , knowledgeable and very fair with his pricing. the job was expected to take 3 hours but instead took more than 6 hours. i felt it wasnt fair that i only pay him the original amount so i offered more... to my surprise he refused. so i gave it as a tip. Matt is just a good human being and thats the biggest compliment i can give a anyone. the job he did was nothing short of fabulous. the shower floor looks the way it did when it was first laid... i am beyond pleased with the outcome. i would hire him again for sure. thank you Matt!
